Julaymba Restaurant & Gallery

Daintree Eco Lodge & Spa
20 Daintree Road, 3 kms south of (before) the Daintree Village.
Excellent Barramundi, icy cold Sauvignon Blanc and first class service
go together to provide good value.

Another great Daintree dining asset.

Croc Eye Cafe in Daintree's main street.

The Croc Eye Cafe is a bright and airy restaurant right in the middle of Daintree Village.
It always pleases whether it is a full on meal or just a snazzy Baguette.
The coffee is absolutely first class.
Today for lunch we had Reef Fish and Calamari with a cracking cold Chardonnay.

The Croc Eye cafe is part of the Daintree scene and the whisperings of
WiFi coming soon are getting louder.

Mossman Bowls Club

It is many years since we have dined at the Mossman Memorial Bowls Club
but we had lunch there today.
The club has just been entered into the Queensland Club's Hall of Fame after being voted Queensland's best three times, an honour it shares with the Tin Shed in at Port Douglas.
This is a good place for lunch simply based on value as we found out by sampling the House White, a Lindeman's Chardonnay for $8.50. The Seafood Duo for $15.50, local Mackerel and Calamari rings was good but the Steak Sandwich for $12 was only 5 out of 10. Main meals include a serve from the salad bar.
